Talk Italian 2 is a new post-beginners course from BBC Active offering direct progression from the popular Talk Italian, or any other beginner’s course in Italian.

Designed along the same clear, straightforward and structured lines as Talk, this course is suitable for any learner who has already studied at a beginner level and wants to take their studies further. Maybe you already have a basic grounding in Italian, perhaps from school or evening class, but don’t want to start again at a beginner’s level, then this course is perfect for you.

You’ll find Talk Italian 2 easy to access and simple to follow. The course features fifteen structured units and extended grammar sections. Additional consolidation units will help you to recap and reinforce what you’ve learned and the two-way glossary will help with explanations of key terms.

Talk Italian 2 will provide you with an improved understanding of Italian, beyond the usual simple holiday-type conversation and basic grammar you are likely to have learned at beginner’s level.

By the end of the course you should find yourself in a position to take part in simple yet increasingly mature conversations, understand longer and more complex passages of both spoken and written Italian and also be able to express opinions, making reference to past, present and future events.
