Portuguese in Focus 3 is the third in a set of manuals that cover levels A1 to C2, aimed at adolescents and adults learning Portuguese as a Foreign Language. It is divided into thematic areas intended to cover the communication needs of learners, corresponding to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In this way, the learner will achieve a degree of independence that will allow him to interact in a varied set of communication situations, developing linguistic-communicative mechanisms, namely of recognition and use of the main lexical-syntactic and syntactic-semantic structures of the language. These structures will allow for greater flexibility and ability to use the language in less predictable situations.

Portuguese in Focus 3 presents:

Português em Foco 3 - Livro do Aluno - About the Authors 

Luísa Coelho. Graduate in Modern Languages and Literature and Master in Multimedia Educational Communication. She was a professor of Portuguese as a Foreign Language from 1983 to 2015 at the Institute of Culture and Portuguese Language, at the Faculty of Letters of Lisbon. She is also the author of several didactic materials for Portuguese as a Foreign Language.

Carla Oliveira. Graduated in Portuguese Language and Culture from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon and specialist in the area of Portuguese Foreign Language. Since 1992, she has taught in the courses of Portuguese for Foreigners of the Institute of Culture and Portuguese Language of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. 

João Malaca Casteleiro. Degree in Romance Philology and PhD in Portuguese Linguistics from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. Professor (retired) from the same faculty. Author and co-author of a vast bibliography in the fields of syntax, lexicon, spelling and teaching of Portuguese Mother Tongue and Foreign Language.

Português em Foco 3 é o terceiro de um conjunto de manuais que abrangem os níveis A1 a C2, dirigidos a adolescentes e adultos aprendentes de Português como Língua Estrangeira. Está dividido em áreas temáticas que pretendem cobrir as necessidades comunicativas dos aprendentes, correspondendo ao nível B2 do Quadro Europeu Comum de Referência para as Línguas (QECR). Deste modo, o aprendente irá atingir um grau de independência que lhe permitirá interagir num conjunto variado de situações de comunicação, desenvolvendo mecanismos linguístico-comunicativos, nomeadamente de reconhecimento e uso das principais estruturas léxico-sintáticas e sintático-semânticas da língua. Estas estruturas permitirão uma maior flexibilidade e capacidade para usar a língua em situações menos previsíveis.

Português em Foco 3 apresenta:
