Quem conta um conto acrescenta um ponto (B1-B2) - Ana Viegas
Paperback, 140 pages. Level B1.
The first of three recreational/didactic, innovating and unique components in this field which, by using texts taken from Portuguese Oral Literature and putting them into writing, develop recreational reading and creative writing activities.
Aimed primarily at teenagers, this book follows a communicative approach that is orientated towards action. It therefore requires active participation from both teachers and learners, favouring non-formal learning activities as well as autonomous, proactive student-centred learning.
'Quem conta um conto acrescenta um ponto' is organised into three parts, as follows:
- Part 1: This explores the concepts of oral literature, Portuguese folk tales, recreational reading and creative writing. It presents the writers of the main collections of these texts and it addresses some messages to the readers and writers, as well as to teachers.
- Part 2: This comprises 20 recreational reading and creative writing workshops based on 20 Portuguese folk tales. These are graded according to levels B1 or B2 of the CEFR and also the QuaREPE, and are arranged by level of difficulty. They cover predominantly pre-reading, reading and post-reading activities, planning, comprehension and revision.
- Part 3: This contains a dictionary that can be developed and completed by learners. It includes contextualised definitions for the required word(s), together with a synonym and an antonym.
