Habla con Eñe: Spanish Courses, Readers and Audio Books

The team behind Punto y Coma, the audio magazine for intermediate to advanced learners of Spanish, publish a superb range of courses, readers, audio books and audio learning guides for learners of Spanish.

Spanish Sitcom A1 is a fun self-study course on DVD for beginners and false beginners, and Spanish Sitcom II (B1) is the follow-on course for intermediate learners. HABLA A1, A2 and B1 are online, more extensive versions of the course with self-marking exercises.

The three books in the El mundo en español range take many of the best articles from past issues of Punto y Coma, plus specially commissioned new features, adapted for learners with a lower level of Spanish; each comes with a CD-ROM with a complete narration of the text. The two Guías de conversación help beginners learn and practise the phrases used most in everyday situations, with a booklet of lessons and transcriptions of all the dialogues on the CD.

The two titles in the Colección Bisagra (short stories for adults), Relatos de amor y desamor and Relatos de encuentros y desencuentros, are themed audio books of stories by contemporary Spanish writers, on CD-ROM with printed transcripts. The four titles in the Colección Libros Blancos (contemporary authors by region) are for more advanced learners (B2–C2), each a pocket-sized book of short stories with a CD of the complete text. Historias de la vida and Historias imposibles bring together some of the very best short stories by contemporary Spanish and Latin American writers.
